Ticketing App ‘Ticlet’ Launches in Goa
Ticlet is a nightlife discovery platform offering users the ability to browse through a curated list of the most happening events in their city. The app also offers RFID solutions to event organizers enabling them to capture previously unknown data, such as contact information, food and beverage purchase patterns and even cashless transactions.
With Goa being hailed as the party capital of India, it comes as no surprise that the conception and creation of an app that offers a common platform for entertainment and nightlife events in Goa should be the brainchild of a Goan. Rishabh Kavlekar from Margao is the Director of Ticlet Entertainment and conceptualised the innovative app.
Ticlet is the exclusive ticketing partner of the India Beach Fashion Week, scheduled on the 14th and 15th of November 2018 at the Goa Marriott Hotel in Panjim. All first time users of the app will be rewarded with a Rs 1500 cash back that can be redeemed on any other ticketing purchase. This is the first time that India Beach Fashion Week will be opening its doors to the public. Previously the glamorous event was invite-only.
Besides being a nightlife and entertainment discovery platform, Ticlet also offers RFID solutions to venue owners and event organizers. This new technology improves the experience of party-goers by making ticket purchases hassle-free and doing away with long queues outside venues. It also enables better management for the entertainment industry by collecting valuable marketing information and enabling users to pay for purchases digitally, without having to worry about carrying cash around.
The popular hospitality and entertainment group,Tito’s is already onboard with its various nightclubs which include Club Tito’s, Bollywood Discotheque and Cafe Mambo. Many more interesting venues are being lined up to add to the bucket list of every party goer who visits Goa. Major metros like Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad and many tier two cities are also on Ticlet’s radar. The promoters believe the app will be a big hit due to the rapidly growing number of internet and smartphone users in the country and the greater buying capabilities among India’s young population.
Additional info about RFID technology:
The RFID technology used by Ticlet, is set to revolutionize the way event management is handled in the state. RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification. This RFID is worn in the form of a wristband by users who attend an event. The wristband works in three easy steps, which includes topping up a cashless amount, tapping the wristband to make payments and at the end of the event receiving a refund on the amount not used.
The RFID technology has many benefits for organizers of large events, including getting attendees in faster rather than waiting in long queues; eradicating counterfeit tickets and going cashless so that partygoers do not have to carry around large amounts of cash. Product add-ons, coupons and other incentives can also be easily added to the wristbands.
The RFID technology also helps with marketing since the wristbands can be connected to the attendee’s social media platforms. Selfies can be shared in real time, by tapping the wristband onto a photo booth. The variety of information can be helpful when pitching a concept to a potential sponsor. Event organisers can upgrade their fans to the VIP section using the wristbands, which creates additional revenue. Ticlet uses the best RFID wristbands to ensure its clients get the best first experience of this technology.
